Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting early learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant school setting near Maple Grove, MN. This early childhood position is designed for a dedicated professional seeking to make a positive impact with a manageable caseload and a flexible, part-time schedule. The assignment runs from early September to late November, providing 12 weeks of meaningful experience and professional growth.
This is a fantastic chance to deliver essential SLP services to preschool-aged students (ECSE 3-5), helping them build foundational speech and language skills for a successful start to their education. You'll serve as a long-term sub, stepping in for a valued team member and ensuring continuity of care during their absence.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Minnesota SLP license (must be submitted with resume)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Experience with early childhood or ECSE populations (ages 3-5) highly valuable
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students on your caseload, ages 3-5
- Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other support staff for optimal student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress records
- Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for young learners
Role Details:
- Contract position, 12-week duration
- Approximately 22.5 hours per week, 3 days per week, Monday through Friday within standard school hours
