School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Grand Prairie, Texas

Make a meaningful difference by supporting students through speech-language therapy at an elementary school near Grand Prairie, TX. This part-time contract opportunity runs from early September 2026 through late May 2027 and will have you working closely with an engaging student population to provide both assessment and direct therapy services.

You’ll serve an elementary campus, collaborating with educators and families to advance student communication skills and support their academic and social growth. This role is ideal for a seasoned Speech-Language Pathologist who flourishes in a dynamic school setting and enjoys tailoring interventions to individual student needs.

What you’ll bring:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current, active Texas SLP license
• At least one year of experience in a school-based setting (no clinical fellows)
• Proficiency with conducting evaluations, report writing, and planning evidence-based interventions
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
• Ability to complete all required fingerprinting and credentialing processes promptly

Key responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language assessments to determine student needs
• Deliver direct therapy services according to approved service plans
• Confer with classroom teachers, intervention specialists, and families to share strategies and monitor progress
• Maintain accurate documentation of services and track IEP/service plan compliance
• Participate in meetings and professional development as requested
