Occupational Therapist School Setting in Dayton, OH

Qualifications:

• Active OTR/L or COTA license in Ohio
• Previous experience in a school-based environment is highly valued
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• COTA candidates must have access to supervision from a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Adaptable and comfortable supporting a variety of student needs

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative OT services to students as outlined in IEPs
• Assess student skills and develop individualized goals and treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student achievement
• Monitor and document student progress, adapting interventions as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to collaborative problem-solving
• Travel between assignments if combining multiple positions
