Occupational Therapist School Setting in Cincinnati, OH

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an Occupational Therapist
• Previous experience with school-aged children or in educational settings preferred
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Flexibility and adaptability across various school assignments

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students and develop individualized treatment plans to address fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, and other needs
• Deliver therapy sessions individually and in groups, based on IEP goals
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed for optimal outcomes
• Consult with teachers and staff to adapt classroom materials and environments
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to students’ educational planning
• Maintain accurate records and comply with all special education documentation requirements
