Make a meaningful impact in a full-time contract role supporting a vibrant PK-3rd grade educational community near Des Plaines, IL. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled School Psychologist to collaborate within a diverse team and provide essential services across an entire building. You’ll be working with a population that includes students with more significant disabilities through specialized programs, offering both challenge and fulfillment as you help them achieve their goals.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience supporting early childhood and elementary-age students (PK-3rd grade preferred)
  • Comfort and expertise working with high caseloads, including students with significant and diverse needs
  • Strong skills in collaboration, consultation, and effective communication
  • Experience with multidisciplinary teams; ability to coordinate with other specialists, such as bilingual psychologists

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, evaluations, and re-evaluations
  • Provide direct and indirect services to students with a wide range of abilities and challenges
  • Collaborate with educators, special program staff, and families to develop and monitor IEPs and implement interventions
  • Offer crisis intervention, behavioral consultation, and support for social-emotional development
  • Serve as a resource to support a positive learning environment for all students in the building
