Job Description

Make a meaningful impact supporting students’ communication and academic success in a dynamic educational setting near Saint Paul, MN. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work directly with 7th-12th grade students, providing both direct and indirect speech-language pathology services at a single, consistent location.

Your role will involve managing a caseload of approximately 33 students, helping them reach their potential through assessment, intervention, and collaborative support. The estimated total service time is between 1,500 and 2,000 minutes per month, giving you the scope to make a real difference while mastering the nuances of school-based SLP.

Desired Experience and Skills:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure as an SLP
  • Experience delivering services in a school environment (preferred)
  • Understanding of IEP development and progress monitoring
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and staff

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and indirect SLP services to 7th-12th grade students
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for a range of communication disorders
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and families to support student goals
  • Maintain timely documentation and contribute to IEP meetings
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
