Make a meaningful impact this school year by bringing your expertise in Occupational Therapy to students in an engaging educational setting. This contract position offers a full-time opportunity, working 1.0 FTE from November through February, serving both elementary and middle school students near Circle Pines, MN.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license in Minnesota (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
  • Proficiency supporting students across elementary and middle school age groups
  • Familiarity with IEP development, documentation, and progress monitoring
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills for collaboration with educators and families
  • Organized, flexible, and committed to fostering student independence

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect occupational therapy services to students, aligning with IEP goals
  • Conduct assessments and write reports to evaluate student needs and progress
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and interventions
  • Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to integrate therapies into daily routines
  • Provide guidance for classroom accommodations and modifications to support student success
  • Participate in IEP team meetings and contribute to the development of educational goals
  • Maintain thorough records consistent with state, federal, and district guidelines
