In this unique role, you’ll supervise a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) and work across both an elementary and middle school site, offering varied and stimulating responsibilities that help refine your leadership and clinical skills.
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license for MN
- Previous experience working in school-based settings is preferred
- Ability to supervise and mentor a COTA
- Strong communication, collaboration, and time management skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students at both an elementary and middle school
- Supervise and provide guidance to a COTA on-site
- Assess, develop, and implement therapeutic plans to meet students' needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Document interventions and progress in accordance with school and state requirements
