Utilize your expertise as a school-based Occupational Therapist while supervising a dedicated COTA. What the ideal candidate brings:

  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist and eligibility to work in a school environment
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred
  • Strong skills in pediatric therapy, with the ability to adapt interventions for varying developmental levels
  • Experience supervising or collaborating with a COTA is a plus
  • Confidence working across multiple sites and supporting diverse student needs
  • Excellent communication abilities for collaboration with educators, families, and support staff
  • Effective organizational and time management talents

What you’ll do:

  • Provide therapy and assessments for students to foster developmental growth, participation, and independence
  • Supervise and mentor a COTA, offering guidance while ensuring effective delivery of therapy services
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans in collaboration with IEP teams and parents
  • Split your time between a middle and an elementary school, actively supporting both communities
  • Keep thorough documentation in compliance with school and regulatory standards
  • Communicate progress to staff, students, and parents, fostering positive partnerships
