Occupational Therapist School Setting - Richmond, TX

Key Qualifications:

• Current and active Occupational Therapy license in Texas
• Experience or strong interest in working with pediatric and school-aged populations
• Familiarity with IEP processes, documentation, and effective collaboration within interdisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, student-focused approach
• Ability to adapt therapy plans to meet diverse needs and multiple learning styles

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative OT services to students as indicated in their IEPs
• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor progress toward goals
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student growth and participation
• Complete timely and accurate documentation and maintain necessary records
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational programs
• Serve as a resource on motor development, adaptive skills, and sensory needs for school staff
