Occupational Therapist School Setting - Homosassa, FL

Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) licensure and credential required
• Experience with PreK-12th grade students preferred
• Skilled in evaluations, IEP development, and providing direct therapy
• Familiarity with school-based documentation and best practices
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) with school experience are encouraged to apply

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify students’ needs and determine goals
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and interventions
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers and parents
• Track progress and document student outcomes in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines
• Support inclusion by adapting learning environments and materials
• Provide training and consultative support to staff and family members
