Step into a meaningful role supporting students’ growth by providing occupational therapy services in a vibrant middle school environment. Beginning August 24, 2026, through June 3, 2027, you’ll have the opportunity to work on site with dedicated colleagues and make a real difference. Whether you prefer full-time hours (7:45am–3:15pm, Monday through Friday) or a shared part-time schedule, your skills will directly enhance student success.

You’ll join an established team of eight Occupational Therapists, collaborating closely with building-level staff to deliver high-quality OT support for students. This contract opportunity keeps you involved in evaluations, direct services, and team consultations.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Illinois OT license (or eligibility)
  • Experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
  • Ability to conduct initial and re-evaluations for special education eligibility
  • Familiarity with delivering services aligned with IEP and MTSS frameworks
  • Strong collaborative spirit and communication skills
  • Commitment to supporting the generalization of skills across classroom and school environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy assessments and services to middle school students
  • Participate on building-level teams to evaluate new and returning students
  • Deliver direct and consultative services according to IEPs and MTSS processes
  • Consult with staff and families to maximize carryover of therapeutic strategies in the classroom
  • Maintain documentation, progress monitoring, and thorough communication with educational teams
