Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by providing critical psychological and mental health support within a dynamic educational environment. Two contract positions are available for skilled school psychologists to offer direct services and coverage for leave across multiple campuses near the Denver area. Each assignment supports students’ social, emotional, and academic development through collaborative, onsite engagement with school teams and families.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree, Specialist’s degree, or Doctorate in School Psychology
  • Active CDE Special Service Provider License with endorsement in School Psychology
  • Proven experience in school-based settings
  • Strong abilities in student assessment and crisis management
  • Expertise in cognitive, behavioral, and social/emotional evaluations
  • Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Advanced computer and technology proficiency
  • Organized, adaptable, and effective in managing multiple priorities
  • Commitment to inclusive, multicultural practices
  • Background check and fingerprints required for district credentialing

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group counseling as outlined in IEPs
  • Design and document interventions for academic, behavioral, and mental health needs
  • Respond to crisis situations, including risk and threat assessments
  • Complete comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and write detailed evaluation reports
  • Collaborate with internal school teams, families, external service providers, and community resources
  • Attend and contribute to IEP, MTSS, and behavioral health meetings
  • Deliver professional development and psychoeducation for school staff
  • Support both special education and general education students with mental health, behavioral, and academic consultation
  • Assist with the development and implementation of Functional Behavioral Assessments and Intervention Plans
