Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students' educational and emotional needs in a dynamic school environment near Denver, CO. In this full-time position, you will provide essential psychological services at two elementary schools, helping shape positive academic and behavioral outcomes for a diverse student population. Key Qualifications:

  • Licensed with a ‘Professional Special Services License’ from the Colorado Department of Education (or in the process of obtaining, for travel professionals)
  • Strong background in school psychology with the ability to articulate experience and skill set confidently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students, staff, and families
  • Prepared to work onsite at both Field Elementary and Hopkins Elementary
  • Comfortable managing a caseload of approximately 40 students
  • Available for two-step interview process with special education leadership and school principal
  • Willingness to research the Denver area and secure reliable housing options if traveling for the assignment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive psychological services, including assessments, counseling, and consultation with school staff and families
  • Collaborate on IEP development and actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Develop intervention strategies to support students’ cognitive, emotional, and social growth
  • Maintain meticulous documentation and uphold all district, state, and federal guidelines

  • Full-time onsite role; immediate start through May 21, 2027
