School Psychologist - Monument, Colorado

Make a significant impact on the lives of students in a supportive educational environment as a School Psychologist serving two elementary schools, just a short drive from Monument, CO. This contract, part-time opportunity is ideal for professionals who are passionate about fostering students’ success and advocating for their well-being.

In this role, you’ll spend one day per week (8 hours) at each of two elementary schools, providing critical services to help students thrive. Your work will primarily focus on special education assessments, collaborating closely with staff and families to create positive educational experiences.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
• Experience in special education assessments and eligibility determinations
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently across multiple locations
• Previous experience in an elementary school setting preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive special education evaluations and assessments
• Interpret and communicate assessment results to multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in IEP and eligibility meetings, offering expert recommendations
• Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support student development and mental health
• Provide crisis intervention and counseling as needed
• Assist in developing intervention strategies for academic, behavioral, and emotional concerns
