Job Description

Bring your expertise and passion for student wellbeing to a dynamic contract opportunity serving students onsite (with select virtual positions available) for the upcoming academic year. In this essential role, you’ll be instrumental in providing comprehensive psychological evaluations, supporting students’ social-emotional growth, and partnering closely with educators and families.

Key Experience & Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in School Psychology (required)
  • State certification as a School Psychologist
  • At least two years’ experience as a school psychologist intern (or equivalent)
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments
  • Strong skills in counseling, consultation, and crisis intervention
  • Fluent in interpreting and preparing psychological reports
  • Comfortable with technology, including digital records, reports, and assessment tools
  • Physically able to operate office equipment and, as needed, travel between sites
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individual psychoeducational evaluations for special education eligibility
  • Score assessments and develop clear, actionable reports
  • Interpret assessment findings to families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide mental health services (individual/group counseling) to students
  • Consult with educators, administrators, and outside agencies to promote positive student outcomes and wellbeing
  • Participate in IEP development, Student Assessment Teams, and school placement meetings
  • Coordinate and implement crisis intervention and management programs
  • Support in-service training for staff and parents to promote understanding of student needs
  • Maintain thorough and confidential student records, reports, and Medicaid documentation
  • Stay informed about developments in school psychology, laws, and best practices

This contract is full-time and runs from August 2026 through May 2027, offering a purposeful way to impact student lives daily. Onsite presence is preferred, but limited virtual options exist for highly qualified candidates.
