Advance your career as a School Psychologist by making a meaningful impact on students in need of expert support. This contract opportunity centers around delivering trauma-informed behavioral and mental health services within a Promising Students Program focused on students experiencing intensive social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. Bring your behavioral and counseling expertise to an environment that values early intervention, data-driven strategies, and strong collaboration with teams of educators and families.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification
  • In-depth knowledge of behavioral and psychoeducational assessment
  • Experience with Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Counseling skills, with a background in trauma-informed practices
  • Familiarity with MTSS frameworks
  • Experience consulting with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Proficiency in navigating IEP and Section 504 processes
  • Crisis response and safety planning expertise preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and small-group counseling that is responsive to student needs
  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational and behavioral evaluations
  • Complete FBAs and contribute to the creation and monitoring of BIPs
  • Work closely with classroom staff to support Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS)
  • Participate in IEP and Section 504 meetings, ensuring holistic student support plans
  • Serve as a liaison, consulting with teachers and families to promote student growth
  • Offer expertise in crisis response and safety planning as required
  • Develop thoughtful transition plans to reintegrate students successfully into their home schools

This full-time role offers a schedule of 37.5 hours per week. Compensation ranges from $85.00 to $88.00 per hour, reflecting the specialized nature and significance of the work.
