Step into an essential role supporting middle school students as a paraprofessional in a contract position near Anoka, MN. This opportunity focuses on center-based settings with a commitment to high standards and care for student needs. You'll work on a Monday-Friday schedule, 32.5 hours each week, starting August 31, 2026. After approximately 90 days (422 contracting hours), there is an opportunity to convert to a direct hire position.

Key Qualifications:

• Must meet Minnesota’s “highly qualified” status by ONE of the following:
  • Passing the MN Board Highly Qualified Para Exam (Para Educator Exam), or
  • Having at least 60 college credits (official transcripts required, diplomas/degrees not sufficient)
• Experience or strong willingness to support toileting needs and personal care
• Comfortable working with center-based (Setting 2-3) caseloads
• Team-oriented, reliable, and able to support students in a middle school environment

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide academic and behavioral support to students as directed by classroom teachers and special education staff
• Assist with personal care tasks, including toileting, to promote comfort and dignity for all students
• Engage with students in classroom and activity settings, ensuring safety and encouraging participation
• Collaborate closely with educators, therapists, and other support professionals
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and flexibility to address evolving classroom needs
