Instructional Aide in Mill Valley, CA

Begin a rewarding contract role supporting elementary students as a Paraprofessional or Instructional Aide for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. Three dedicated individuals are needed to fill full-time positions working across various elementary schools. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers with instructional activities to enhance student learning
• Provide dedicated support to general education students, including those in Transitional Kindergarten through 5th grade
• Supervise and assist students during classroom and play activities
• Offer individualized help to students as directed by the classroom teacher
• Support children with toileting and diapering needs in a compassionate and respectful manner
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all students
• Collaborate with educators and staff to implement daily routines and classroom management

Qualifications & Experience Preferred:

• Ability to complete required para training prior to placement
• Previous experience as a classroom aide or paraprofessional is a plus
• Comfortable assisting with toileting and supporting young children
• Flexible and proactive with a positive, child-centered approach
• Willingness to work full-time hours, covering shifts that begin as early as 7:45am or finish as late as 3:00pm
• Reliable transportation to and from school sites; please consider proximity and commute logistics, as travel over local toll bridges will impact daily transportation costs
