Key Qualifications:
- Active substitute certificate on the Missouri DESE platform
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with behavioral support
- Reliable transportation to ensure punctual and dependable attendance
- Willingness to complete district-specific fingerprinting requirements
- Passion for supporting children in their academic and personal growth
Responsibilities Include:
- Providing individualized support to a specific elementary student
- Assisting the classroom teacher with instruction, supervision, and reinforcement of positive behaviors
- Implementing personalized behavioral interventions as needed
- Fostering a safe, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment
- Monitoring student progress and adapting approaches under the direction of educational staff
- Collaborating closely with educators and other professionals to ensure the student’s success
Benefits and Schedule:This is a full-time contract position with hours from 9:00 AM to 4:25 PM. Candidates will participate in a two-part interview process, starting with a prescreen conversation followed by an interview with the district.
