Registered Nurse School Setting - Quincy, MA

This full-time position spans from August through February, coinciding with the school calendar. The assignment involves working Monday through Friday, approximately 32–35 hours per week, serving the needs of students at an elementary campus. You’ll work in close collaboration with school staff while independently managing the daily healthcare responsibilities of the school community.

Qualifications:

• Active RN or LPN license required
• Previous experience in school nursing, pediatric, or community health strongly preferred
• Ability to work autonomously with sound judgment and professionalism
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills and capability to maintain detailed records

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care, including illness/injury assessment, medication administration, and ongoing health monitoring for students
• Support chronic disease management plans such as asthma, diabetes, allergies, and seizure disorders
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date health records and documentation
• Serve as a liaison between families, school staff, and healthcare providers
• Promote a healthy, safe, and inclusive school environment through education and support
