Registered Nurse School Setting in Glendale Heights, IL

Exciting opportunity available for a dedicated and detail-oriented School Nurse with RN credentials and Certified School Nurse (CSN) certification. This contract position allows you to utilize your expertise in a supportive school setting near Glendale Heights, IL, collaborating closely with other professionals.

In this short-term assignment, you will play a key role in conducting an Independent Educational Evaluation (IEE) alongside an Audiologist. This impactful assessment helps foster the best educational outcomes for students, and your work will directly contribute to their success.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of Illinois
• Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Nurse endorsement
• Certification as a Certified School Nurse (CSN)
• Experience providing evaluations within school settings preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
• Meticulous attention to detail and thorough documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a comprehensive nursing assessment as part of the IEE process
• Partner with an Audiologist to gather a holistic view of student needs
• Maintain accurate, confidential records and follow all compliance guidelines
