Key Qualifications:
- Active WI RN or LPN license required
- CPR and AED certification
- At least 1 year pediatric nursing experience preferred
- Comfortable or certified in ventilator and tracheostomy care
- Valid Wisconsin driver’s license
- Recent experience: Must have worked as an RN/LPN within the last 2 years or completed a refresher course in the past year
- Physically able to perform all duties—including lifting up to 50 pounds
What You'll Do:
- Provide dedicated 1:1 clinical support to a student with specialized medical needs
- Oversee and administer care for ventilator and tracheostomy management
- Monitor and document all health-related events throughout the school day
- Communicate effectively with caregivers, teachers, and school staff
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment tailored to the student's needs
- Work independently within one assigned school for the duration of the contract
