This part-time contract opportunity is focused on providing essential medical care to a kindergarten student, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the school day.
Enjoy a consistent weekday schedule, working just 3 hours daily (12pm-3pm, Monday through Friday), with flexibility to increase hours if there are changes in the student's needs. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current RN licensure required, with demonstrated competence for pediatric care
- Experience with or ability to perform catheterization procedures
- Strong communication skills, able to collaborate with educators and support staff
- Compassionate and patient-focused, particularly with young children
- Previous school nursing or pediatric experience is preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one medical care to a kindergarten student, attending to specific health needs
- Administer catheterization and support with daily health routines
- Monitor and document the student’s status, responding quickly to any changes
- Communicate with school staff and families as appropriate
- Uphold safety standards and comply with all applicable regulations
