Registered Nurse School Setting in Moravia, NY

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the state of New York
• Prior experience in school or pediatric nursing strongly preferred
• Must be comfortable working itinerantly across 12 school sites
• Strong communication skills and ability to adapt in a dynamic environment
• Reliable transportation to travel between sites as assigned

Responsibilities:

• Deliver daily nursing services including assessments, medication administration, and emergency care
• Support existing school nurses, assisting with coverage and caseload management
• Foster a safe, healthy school environment by addressing student health needs, documenting care, and communicating with staff and families
• Participate in individualized healthcare planning for students with chronic conditions
• Educate students and staff on health, wellness, and preventative practices
• Maintain accurate records in alignment with district and state requirements
