Ready to make a meaningful impact in K-12 education as a School Psychologist? An exciting opportunity awaits to support multiple school sites through a contract role focused on discipline requests, educational assessments, and multidisciplinary collaboration. The position runs from August 18, 2026, through May 24, 2027, at 29 hours per week, offering you the chance to contribute both independently and as a valued team member.

Key Qualifications:

  • Hold NASP certification or an LSSP from the Louisiana State Board of Examiners and Psychologists
  • Strong foundation in psychoeducational evaluations and IDEA compliance
  • Demonstrated skill in interpreting assessment data and writing thorough evaluation reports
  • In-depth knowledge of special education eligibility and multidisciplinary processes
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex assessment results to families and professional teams
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with proven experience meeting strict timelines
  • Effective collaboration with educational diagnosticians, social workers, speech-language pathologists, and administrators
  • Bilingual skills are an asset
  • Must be able to pass a district background check and fingerprinting
