Step into a rewarding role supporting students' communication and academic growth as a School Speech-Language Pathologist. This full-time, in-person position offers the chance to make a lasting difference for students ages 3 to 21. You’ll provide tailored SLP services within an engaging school environment, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to empower each learner.

Your assignment runs from ASAP through June 1, 2027, with a 35-hour workweek, giving you the stability of an extended contract. You’ll deliver therapy, assessments, and support, adjusting services to meet the developmental needs of children and young adults at various educational stages.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license required
  • Professional Educator License (PEL) in Illinois is a must
  • Previous experience in schools or with students aged 3–21 strongly preferred
  • Proficient in developing and implementing IEPs, documenting progress, and collaborating with teachers and families
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Dedicated to fostering an inclusive, supportive environment

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students as assigned
  • Deliver individualized and group therapy sessions, working both directly and consultatively as part of IEP teams
  • Develop treatment goals and strategies tailored to students’ unique needs and abilities
  • Maintain accurate documentation and provide progress updates as needed
  • Serve as a valued resource for staff and families, promoting best practices in communication development
  • Adapt services as required to support students across the birth-to-21 age range
