Step into a highly impactful role where you’ll play a central part in supporting students facing significant social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. As a School Psychologist in an innovative school-based program, you will shape the lives of promising young people by providing trauma-informed, evidence-based interventions. Your expertise will directly foster healthier school environments and help students overcome barriers to learning and personal growth.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Strong background in behavioral assessments, counseling practices, and trauma-informed interventions
  • Experience with Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Skilled in psychoeducational and behavioral evaluation methodologies
  • Collaboration experience within an educational or pediatric mental health setting
  • Familiarity with MTSS, IEP, and Section 504 processes
  • Confidence in crisis response and proactive safety planning
  • Effective communicator comfortable working with students, families, and school professionals

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individual and small-group counseling to address emotional and behavioral needs
  • Conduct psychoeducational and behavioral evaluations to inform student supports
  • Complete FBAs and contribute to BIP development and ongoing monitoring
  • Support multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) frameworks
  • Consult and collaborate actively with teachers and families
  • Participate in IEP and Section 504 meetings as a valued team member
  • Assist with crisis response, develop safety plans, and guide positive behavioral transitions
  • Create transition programs to support successful student reintegration
