Step into an impactful contract opportunity making a difference in a vibrant high school setting in New Britain, CT! This full-time, onsite role spans 35 hours per week, commencing August 24, 2026, and continuing through May 2027, with the possibility of extension through the remainder of the school year. Be a key resource as a school psychologist for a high school caseload, supporting student success and well-being.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active licensure and certification as a school psychologist in Connecticut.
  • Previous experience working within school settings, specifically with high school populations.
  • Proven ability to administer a wide variety of evaluations and generate comprehensive PPT reports.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, comfortable engaging with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to confidentiality and student needs.
  • Availability for a Zoom interview during the hiring process.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive student assessments and interpret data to inform educational planning.
  • Prepare thorough, timely PPT (Planning and Placement Team) reports for meetings and student records.
  • Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to design effective student support interventions.
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and ongoing multidisciplinary discussions.
  • Provide counseling, recommendations, and crisis intervention as needed to promote student wellness.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and legal standards.
  • Advocate for best practices and culturally responsive support for students.
