Put your expertise in psychology to work by supporting students and educators in the Bridgeport area. This contract opportunity offers 32.5 hours per week in a diverse K-12 setting, giving you the chance to make a meaningful impact across different age groups and developmental stages.

As a School Psychologist, you’ll collaborate with teachers, families, and school personnel to provide direct and consultative services that help students thrive both academically and emotionally. Your skills will be essential in assessing student needs, developing intervention plans, and supporting positive learning environments for all students.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Current or eligible certification/licensure as a School Psychologist (state requirements apply)
  • Experience with K-12 caseloads preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Familiarity with multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS), IEP processes, and best practices in psychoeducational assessment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments
  • Interpret evaluation results and share findings with relevant stakeholders
  • Develop and monitor student intervention and support plans
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to support IEP implementation and student success
  • Counsel students individually or in groups, supporting social-emotional growth
  • Provide crisis intervention and promote safe, supportive school climates
