Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or related field
- Current, valid School Psychologist certification/licensure for Massachusetts
- Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
- Skilled in conducting individual and group assessments, including cognitive, behavioral, and social-emotional evaluations
- Strong understanding of IEP processes, special education law, and intervention strategies
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
- Proficiency in counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral consultation
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological evaluations and assessments for K-5 students across two schools
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Offer direct intervention and counseling services to support students’ social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Engage with parents, teachers, and administrators to recommend interventions and strategies for student success
- Support district and school-wide initiatives to promote safe, positive learning environments
- Maintain thorough and confidential student records in compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
