Make a meaningful impact working with students across all grade levels as an experienced School Psychologist. This full-time contract opportunity in the Bridgeport, CT area (serving schools near Stamford) offers you the chance to contribute your expertise to a diverse K-12 caseload. You’ll collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and caregivers to support student development and promote positive learning environments.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
  • Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist (or eligibility for credentialing)
  • Prior experience working in educational settings, ideally spanning elementary, middle, and high school populations
  • Strong understanding of IEP process, psychological assessment, and evidence-based interventions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with students, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to identify students’ learning, behavioral, and emotional needs
  • Provide direct counseling and intervention services for individual students and groups
  • Assist with the development and implementation of IEPs and behavior intervention plans
  • Participate actively in multidisciplinary teams, contributing professional insights into student support strategies
  • Consult with teachers and staff to promote best practices for classroom management, social-emotional learning, and academic progress
  • Engage with families to discuss assessment findings and recommend support options
