Exciting opportunities are available for skilled Occupational Therapists seeking a rewarding contract assignment in a school-based setting near Saint Paul, MN. Multiple openings are offered for the upcoming school year, focusing on making a meaningful impact for students receiving special education and Setting IV services. Each position offers a unique assignment location, schedule, and duration—ideal for professionals seeking flexible contract work.

Open Positions:

  • Position 1: Leave of Absence, North Education Center
    August 31st to approximately November 13th
    .8 FTE (32 hours/week; 4 days/week)
    Serve students receiving Setting IV special education services

  • Position 2: Leave of Absence, South Education Center
    September 21st to January 4th (excluding winter break)
    40 hours/week; 5 days/week
    Support students in Setting IV special education

  • Position 3: Full Academic Year, Split Locations
    20 hours/week, serving two sites
    South metro district (varied settings) and Ann Bremmer Education Center (all Setting IV placements)

  • Position 4: Pending, Full-Time
    Awaiting final district confirmation

Preferred candidates will have a strong background in school-based occupational therapy and a commitment to supporting diverse student needs.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • School-based OT experience required
  • Ability to work within school schedules and specific assignment timelines
  • Completion of agency onboarding process and district background check
  • Reliable transportation between sites as needed
  • If previously credentialed, must be in good standing from prior placements

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct therapy services and consultative support
  • Collaborate with special education teams to implement IEP goals
  • Foster a supportive, inclusive learning environment
  • Monitor student progress and document interventions effectively
