The assignment runs from September 1, 2026, through June 3, 2027, with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule totaling 37.5 hours per week.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license (OTR/L) in the state or eligibility for licensure
- School-based OT experience preferred, especially with elementary and early childhood populations
- Strong understanding of IEP development, documentation, and case management
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
- Ability to assess, develop, and implement individual and group therapy interventions
- Passion for supporting diverse learners and fostering independence
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments for students in elementary and early childhood programs
- Develop individualized treatment plans and goals aligned with student needs and IEPs
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services within classroom and other school settings
- Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to support student achievement
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes as required by school policies and regulatory standards
- Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and staff development activities
