Shape the future of students in a dynamic learning environment as a Special Education Teacher for the 2026-27 school year! This contract opportunity places you right at the heart of a supportive community, working hands-on with students at both middle and elementary school levels.

Two dedicated Special Education professionals are needed for in-person roles within nurturing school settings. The positions offer the chance to collaborate, innovate, and inspire growth in every student you serve.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current and valid special education teaching certification as required by the state
  • Experience working with students in a school-based setting, ideally at the middle or elementary level
  • Deep understanding of differentiated instruction, IEP process, and special education compliance
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
  • Commitment to working on-site; remote or virtual candidates cannot be considered

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging in-person instruction tailored to diverse learning needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
  • Foster an inclusive classroom atmosphere that celebrates each student’s abilities
  • Collaborate closely with general education staff, administrators, and support professionals
  • Employ data-driven strategies to support educational and behavioral success
  • Maintain thorough documentation in alignment with state and federal guidelines
