Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Possess a valid Vermont Special Education Teaching Certification
- Hold a degree in Special Education
- Experience with early childhood education or specialized training preferred
- Strong communication skills and a patient, engaging approach with young learners
- Ability to collaborate effectively with general education teachers, support staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the needs of each early childhood student
- Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to support a diverse range of learning styles and abilities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic support
