Special Education Teacher - Troutman, North Carolina

Key qualifications and experience:

• Valid Adapted Curriculum License appropriate for the role

• Strong organizational, communication, and classroom management skills
• Comfortable collaborating with a team of educators, support staff, and families

Responsibilities:

• Provide instruction and support to a caseload of 15-18 middle and high school students
• Develop and adapt curriculum to meet unique learning needs, following extended content standards
• Work in close coordination with colleagues at Discovery School, Third Creek Middle School, and West Iredell High School
• Foster an inclusive classroom culture that enthusiasts, encourages, and empowers students
• Monitor student progress and communicate regularly with families and staff
• Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with educational regulations
