Qualifications:

• Active North Carolina Special Education Teaching Certification (required for interview consideration)
• Demonstrated experience working with students in special education, either at the elementary or secondary level
• Solid grasp of developing, implementing, and evaluating Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with students, staff, and families
• Adaptability and creativity in delivering customized instruction and support
• Willingness to commit to an on-site role for the entirety of the 2026-2027 school year

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver instruction tailored to students’ unique needs and IEP goals
• Collaborate with faculty, paraprofessionals, and related service providers to optimize student outcomes
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, professional development, and ongoing program evaluations
• Maintain accurate records related to student progress, documentation, and compliance
• Engage with families, providing updates and educational support as needed
