Special Education Teacher - Troutman, NC

Key qualifications and experience sought:

• Valid Adapted Curriculum License (required for specific school settings)

• Comfortable managing a caseload of 15-18 students
• Effective communicator and strong collaborator with parents, teachers, and school staff
• Skills in creating, implementing, and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Ability to adapt curriculum for high-needs students and deliver both resource and inclusion services

Responsibilities in this role include:

• Delivering tailored instruction to students in adapted curriculum, resource, or inclusion settings
• Developing and maintaining IEPs, ensuring accommodations and modifications are effectively implemented
• Collaborating with general education teachers and related service providers
• Monitoring student progress and maintaining detailed records
