These contract positions offer hands-on opportunities to assist students with diverse learning needs in an elementary school setting. With three openings available—one in a Center-Based classroom and two in Resource/Setting 1 & 2—you’ll be an essential part of a collaborative team dedicated to fostering a positive, inclusive environment.

What you’ll bring:

• Highly Qualified status as a Paraprofessional—either by passing the Minnesota Para Educator Exam, or with at least 60 college credits (official transcripts required upon application)
• Experience working with children in an educational environment is strongly preferred
• Flexibility and adaptability to support different grade levels throughout the day
• Willingness to assist with toileting and personal care, as needed
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to supporting students with varying academic and behavioral needs

What you’ll do:

• Provide support to teachers and students in Center-Based and Resource settings
• Work M-F, 32.5 hours per week; typical schedule is 9:10 AM – 4:10 PM
• Support one grade level in the morning and another in the afternoon for Setting 1/2 roles
• Assist with instruction, classroom management, and daily routines
• Help students with daily living skills, including toileting where necessary
