Make a real difference supporting students in a specialized setting near Osseo, MN! If you’re an experienced paraprofessional who feels confident working with students who have significant behavioral and developmental needs, this contract opportunity could be a meaningful fit for you. You’ll spend your days at a dedicated Special Education environment, collaborating with educators and staff to foster growth and learning for children and young adults from elementary through high school.

Key Qualifications:

  • Must be “Highly Qualified” by meeting one of the following:
    • Pass the MN Board Highly Qualified Para Exam (attach passing Para Educator or Parapro exam score)
    • OR have at least 60 college credits (official transcript required)
  • Open to supporting students 100% in Special Education Setting 4, which includes assisting with daily living needs such as toileting
  • Comfortable managing a caseload that demonstrates the highest behavioral and developmental needs
  • Flexible in working with a range of ages (elementary to high school; please indicate age level preference if any)
  • Able to begin September 8, 2026 and work through June 10, 2027
  • Available to work Monday to Friday, 32.5 hours per week

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized academic, behavioral, and social support to students
  • Assist with daily activities, including personal care and toileting as needed
  • Foster a safe, structured, and supportive classroom environment
  • Collaborate with teachers and specialists to implement IEPs
  • Participate actively in team meetings and ongoing staff development
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to district procedures
