Based at a highly regarded elementary school, you’ll help young learners thrive while benefiting from a structured schedule and the possibility to transition to a permanent position after the initial period.

Three positions are currently available: one Center-Based role and two Resource/Setting 1 & 2 roles. Resource paraprofessionals will typically serve one grade level in the morning and a different grade in the afternoon. Each position requires a readiness to assist with toileting needs, as part of a dedicated and compassionate team.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Must be highly qualified via one of the following:
    • Passing the MN Para Educator Exam (attach valid score documentation)
    • Completion of at least 60 college credits (official transcripts required; degree photos or diplomas not accepted)
  • Updated resume required for consideration
  • Prior experience supporting students in an educational environment, ideally as a paraprofessional
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
  • Willingness to assist with all aspects of student support, including personal care as needed

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support to students within general and special education settings
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
  • Collaborate with educators and staff to implement individualized student support strategies
  • Adapt to multiple grade levels and classroom needs throughout the school day
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards at all times

This position offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule at 32.5 hours per week, starting early September and running through early December for the contract-to-hire phase. The hourly pay rate is $20.
