Special Education Teacher - Hanover, Pennsylvania

We’re seeking two enthusiastic Special Education Teachers to work on-site at a specialized learning center, where you’ll contribute to building a dynamic and supportive educational experience for students with diverse needs.

This contract role runs from August 2026 through June 2027, with hours from 7:45 AM to 3:15 PM, Monday through Friday. The primary assignment will be in Autistic Support Rooms, requiring adaptable and compassionate educators who are passionate about student development. Assignments may evolve based on program needs.

Qualifications:

• Valid Pennsylvania teaching certificate in Special Education
• Experience or strong interest in working within Autistic Support settings
• Understanding of IEP development, differentiation, and behavior management strategies
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
• Capability to complete Pennsylvania clearance processes and assigned pre-training modules promptly

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction and support to students according to IEPs
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere tailored to each student’s needs
• Implement evidence-based behavioral and academic interventions
• Monitor student progress and maintain detailed documentation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and support staff
• Flexibly adapt instructional approaches as required by student needs and program adjustments
