Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Arlington Heights, IL

A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide vital support during a maternity leave contract for a school-based setting near Arlington Heights, IL. This full-time position runs from August 19th through the end of October, helping students communicate with confidence at the start of the school year. Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology
• Prior experience in pediatric, school-based, or teletherapy environments
• CFY candidates are welcome and will be considered
• Strong collaborative skills to work with teachers, staff, and families
• Comfortable using digital therapy platforms as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
• Assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders in a variety of age groups
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of evaluations, therapy sessions, and student progress
• Work in partnership with educators and families to develop goals and effective therapy strategies
• Adapt therapy methods to suit individual student needs, including teletherapy when required
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide clear professional input on student speech and language goals
