Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Valid state license in Speech-Language Pathology (or ability to obtain before start).
- Experience in a school-based setting preferred; healthcare or pediatric SLP background also valuable.
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and virtual service delivery encouraged.
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students, conducting thorough assessments and developing tailored intervention plans.
- Document progress and maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Work 4 days per week, totaling 30 hours, actively participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
- Provide guidance and education to classroom teachers and families, supporting carryover of therapeutic goals.
- Embrace diverse student needs and adapt sessions for virtual or on-site environments as required.
