Key Qualifications:

  • Active Illinois Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
  • SLP-CCC certification preferred
  • Prior experience in a school setting with elementary and/or middle school students
  • Skilled in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for effective collaboration
  • Ability to commit to onsite work; remote or hybrid schedules are not available

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personalized therapy services to students within established caseload
  • Carry out assessments and maintain comprehensive documentation
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in coordination with educators and families
  • Support IEP meetings and contribute to goal development
  • Foster a supportive environment that encourages student growth and participation
  • Maintain up-to-date records and progress reports in alignment with school guidelines

This assignment offers the fulfillment of supporting students at critical stages of their educational journey. You’ll work a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, averaging 37.5 hours per week, allowing you to fully engage with your caseload and school teams.
