This role focuses on Speech-Language Pathology, with both monolingual and bilingual caseloads available. You'll primarily manage evaluations and case management tasks, with some hands-on therapy as needed, keeping your work engaging and diverse. With multiple positions available, you’ll have the chance to work alongside a collaborative team, all dedicated to student success.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Texas SLP license required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Prior experience working in school settings, preferably with varied age groups
- Strong evaluation, documentation, and case management skills
- Ability to support both monolingual and bilingual students an asset
- Adaptability and a collaborative mindset
- Commitment to onsite service delivery (this is not a virtual position)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations for students
- Manage caseloads through efficient case management and documentation
- Develop and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Liaise with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student progress
- Provide speech and language therapy as needed to meet students’ needs
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
