Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility)
- Recent experience in school-based or teletherapy SLP roles
- Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
- Fluent in both Ukrainian and English (required)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with young students, teachers, and families
- Familiarity with IEP processes and best practices in K-12 education
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct an evaluation for a kindergarten student to determine speech and language needs
- Collaborate with the school's multidisciplinary team to interpret results and develop appropriate recommendations or interventions
- Provide clear and supportive communication with teachers and families, addressing questions and explaining findings
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold compliance with all regulations and district policies
- Use cultural sensitivity and language skills to ensure the student and family feel supported throughout the process
