Job Description
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a School Psychologist. Two full-time roles are available—one focused on elementary-aged learners and the other serving high school students. Make a meaningful impact by promoting students’ mental health and academic development within a collaborative and supportive environment.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Hold (or be eligible for) a valid School Psychologist certification
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
- Experience working in K-12 settings, with expertise in either elementary or high school populations preferred
- Strong assessment, intervention, and counseling skills
- Ability to develop IEPs, participate in multidisciplinary teams, and facilitate positive behavioral supports
- Excellent communication and consultation abilities with students, staff, and families
- Familiarity with special education law and best practices in assessment
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and psychoeducational evaluations for referred students
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to identify and support students’ needs
- Contribute to the development and implementation of IEPs and behavior intervention plans
- Provide individual and group counseling to promote students’ social, emotional, and behavioral wellness
- Guide crisis interventions and help create a positive school climate
- Serve as a resource on mental health and child development topics
- Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to school improvement initiatives
