Step into a meaningful role supporting students with speech and language needs in a school setting near Littleton, CO. This opportunity is ideal for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist looking to make an impactful contribution on a part-time basis within a collaborative educational environment.

You’ll be providing services to a mild-to-moderate caseload of students at Vega Collegiate Academy, working two full days per week (14-15 hours total). This contract position runs through the 2026-2027 school year, offering a stable, consistent schedule that fits well for professionals seeking flexibility.

Qualifications and Licensure:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences from an accredited university
  • Active Colorado Department of Education Certification
  • Valid Colorado SLP License (acceptable titles include Speech-Language Pathologist, Speech Connectionist, or Speech Therapist for ages birth through 21)
  • Prior experience in a school setting is preferred
  • Ability to fulfill all background check and fingerprinting requirements promptly
  • Familiarity with IEP process and school-based documentation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, develop, and implement speech-language therapy plans for students with mild-to-moderate needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate student success
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with district and state standards
  • Provide direct therapy and support educational teams with tools for carrying out interventions
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to student IEPs
